This 47 Desoto Deluxe features the way cool suicide doors and massive chrome front grille that makes this car stand out today as well as it did 60 years ago. A very solid body with only a couple small scuffs in the outer sheet metal, making this a perfect candidate for an easy repaint. All the original chrome is there and in considerably good shape for its age. Grille is intact and not bent. This cars still has the original flat head 6 cylinder and 'Fluid Drive' transmission, but the engine has been disassembled. All the wiring is intact, as well as the dash and gauges. Only bad spot in the car is a small hole in the passengers floor. One of the original add-on visors is available for this car also. Would make a cool cruiser with a late model V-8 conversion.
