This car is nearing completion. Two things I'm not going to change is the color and the gear. I'm going to paint the hood to match. New door panels, carpet & headliner. Will have new windsheild. Wipers are pivots and arms only; mounting and wiring are there. Front fenders are "race weight" fiberglass, The RS headlights are sagging because there is no vac. mechanisims on the backs, they will be custom manual open style, am building new back braces that will straighten them up. Hood is new Harwood 4" cowl induction. Cooling system is new TIG welded radiator with Elec. fan W/ thermostat and manual on. New Weiand elec water pump. New Powermaster Alternater, 105 amp w/ billet mount setup & and alum.crank pulley.
Engine...   454 Chev. bored .030  CK10 honed, Line honed, Main & head studs. Steel crank turned .010 LS-6 rods new ARP bolts, TRW pistons @ 12.5-1 comp. block decked .015, Heads cut .050 comp ratio is about 13.25. It runs great on purple sonoco. It will not run on pump gas. Lots of work done, completely cleaned up (not hogged out), lots of bowl work & ports matched, polished combustion chambers, new bronze guides, Manley pro-flow stainless valves, triple springs, new hardened rocker studs, Harland Sharp rocker arms.  Pure Nostalgia induction setup. Old Edelbrock C96X cross-ram intake, port matched, trick throttle linkage, Edelbrock 1407  750 cfm carbs. Set-up right , throttle response can best be described as instantanious. Exhaust consists of Hooker Super Comp 2 1/8" primaries w/ Flowmaster 4" merge  collectors ( 4-2-1) . Full 4" pipes to Dynomax bullet mufflers, 4" in & out w/ 6" bodies,  Mandrel bent 45* turn outs & turndowns, it aint quiet. New ball joints & control arm bushings.
This car is fresh. Only a few short shakedown passes on a brand new street close to the house here. The engine is not built for real high RPM, should be about 65-6800. I did that so it wouldn't be so hard on parts.
In the Pro-Street realm this car is more towards the Pro side. With 4.56 gears it should run 10.5's all day and not kill the pocket book. If no one buys it soon I'm going to take it and get some 1/'8 mile numbers. Car will be set-up to hook and go straight.
 Any questions,
Neal @ 559-469-7654
