Welcome to The Mopar Dude website, your source for resto services, project cars, and parts.
We are still just north of scenic Burlington, Kansas, on US highway 75. Its half-way between Burlington and New Strawn, or exactly 12.9 miles south of I35 exit 155. If you are going to stop by, call ahead and we can give you easy directions from just about anywhere. Make a note of our new phone numbers, located on each of our pages.
The restoration end of the shop has been active, with what seems to be quite a string of Plymouth B bodies lately. One minute there isn't a RoadRunner on the place, then all of a sudden there are 6. Last round it was E bodies, and the next wave might bring a heard of Darts. We are familiar with all of them, and can do a ground-up resto or perform any modifications you desire. Anything from a paint splotch, grease pencil correct museum piece to a resto mod, depending on you requirements or budget. Call for details and a rough estimate.
Our latest in-house creation is a 68 L-600 2-1/2 ton truck converted to a dually pick up. Its not the most conventional truck you will see running down the road, but you can sure find it in a parking lot. We wanted something that stands out from the crowd, and could pull a goose neck trailer to swap meets, and this does it. You will get more looks and positive comments than if you had a Hemicuda or Daytona, guaranteed.
Our goal is to provide parts and cars at a price that is affordable to the average enthusiast when possible. This being the age of information, its becoming harder to find cars and parts priced where we can sell them to you economically. Everybody seems to get a distorted view of values after watching televised and internet auctions, and it becomes difficult to find a 'good buy' to pass on to you. Suddenly, Elmer that has a $300 turd in the fence row, thinks its worth $3000 because cousin Clem thinks they are selling for that much on EvilBay. Just makes us shop smarter and thins the selection to choose from. Therefore, we may not have the largest inventory, but what we do have is priced right.
.Thanks again to all of you that help make us who we are. Without your loyal support, we would still be working in the gravel out back under a blue tarp.
